The mission of the U.S. Army Combatives Course is to train Leaders and Soldiers in close quarters Combatives in order to instill the Warrior Ethos and prepare Soldiers to close with and defeat the enemy in hand to hand combat.

Airborne
Airborne forces are ground combat units carried by aircraft and airdropped into battle zones, typically by parachute drop. Parachute-qualified infantry and support personnel serving in airborne units are also known as paratroopers.

Air Assault
Air assault is the movement of ground-based military forces by vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft, such as helicopters, to seize and hold key terrain that has not been fully secured, and to directly engage enemy forces behind enemy lines.

Through progressive levels of expertise in assignments, training, and education, the warrant officer administers, manages, maintains, operates and integrates systems and equipment across the full spectrum of operations.

Path Finder
Army Pathfinders are trained to provide navigational aid and advisory services to military aircraft in areas designated by supported unit commanders. The Pathfinders’ secondary missions include providing advice and limited aid to units planning air assault or airdrop operations. During the Pathfinder course students are instructed in aircraft orientation, aero-medical evacuation, close combat assault, ground to air communication procedures, Control Center operations, all three phases of a sling load operation, Helicopter Landing Zone and Pick Up Zone operations, and Drop Zone operations (Computed Air Release Point, Ground Marker Release System, and Verbally Initiated Release System), dealing with U.S. military fixed and rotary wing aircraft for personnel and equipment.
Army Ranger
Army Rangers are an elite group of combat soldiers within the United States Army Special Operations Command. Rangers are trained in a number of specialized skills, including airborne, air assault, and amphibious assault skills. A Ranger regiment is used for a variety of roles. Rangers often work in a reconnaissance capacity, behind enemy lines, seizing strategic locations and gathering intelligence. They also conduct direct combat operations, offensive counter-operations, and defensive counter-operations.
Sapper
Battle Staff
Educate Staff Sergeants through Master Sergeants to serve as battle staff noncommissioned officers at battalion and higher level staff positions. Battle Staff NCO Course provides selected noncommissioned officers with the tools necessary to learn specific staff duties and become familiar with the duties of other staff sections. BSNCOC provides technical and tactical curriculum relevant to the missions, duties, and responsibilities assigned to battle staff members in battalion and brigade-level units.
Drill Sergeant Academy
As a drill sergeant you are responsible for coaching, counseling and mentoring hundreds, if not thousands, of trainees as you transform them from a civilian volunteer to a combat-ready Soldier. You are all that your Soldiers know of the Army and they emulate everything you do. Just as you will always remember your drill sergeant, so will your Soldiers. It is up to you to provide a positive and rewarding experience as these young Soldiers begin their journey in the Army. What you do for them will impact them for the rest of their lives.
Master Marksmanship Trainer Course
The Marksmanship Master Trainer Course provides commanders with select Noncommissioned Officer Marksmanship Master Trainers who understand how to train marksmanship and develop primary and assistant instructors. They also assist commanders in planning and implementing their marksmanship strategy.
