Officer Candidate School
OCS is one of four paths to become a commissioned Officer in the Army. Applying is open to civilians, active-duty enlisted, Army Reserve, and National Guard Soldiers with at least a bachelor’s degree. OCS offers the intense military tactical training you need to become an Officer, while also preparing you for careers in fields like engineering, finance, mechanics, communications, and more. When you graduate OCS as a commissioned Officer, expect to be ready to lead in any situation, no matter the environment, and no matter the stakes.

Tuition Assistance Program
Tuition Assistance The Tuition Assistance program helps Soldiers in active duty, the Army Reserve, or the Army National Guard pay for school or professional training. Eligible Soldiers can receive up to $250 per semester hour and up to 16 semester hours per fiscal year—totaling $4,000 annually to help pay for school or professional training.

Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers
Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) is a program that supports the overall quality of single soldier’s lives. BOSS identifies well being issues and concerns by recommending improvements through the chain of command. BOSS encourages and assists single soldiers in identifying and planning for recreational and leisure activities. Additionally, it gives single soldiers the opportunity to participate in and contribute to their respective communities.
